The mission of the Williamsfield Public Library is to encourage lifelong learning, promote knowledge, and strengthen our community. In order to carry out this mission, there are three things we must have - our highly trained staff, our extensive collections, and our physical and virtual space.

Full-Time Position

Library Director

The Board of Trustees of the Williamsfield Public Library is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Library Director. This is a full-time, salaried position with a negotiable, competitive compensation packet.


Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Library Director is responsible for overseeing the finances, programming, and daily operations of the library to efficiently and effectively serve the public. Only candidates with strong communication skills and an excellent professional demeanor will be considered. Experience in grant writing, library science, literacy, education, social media, and finance would be advantageous.

Featured Program

Spring Storyhour (CANCELLED UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE)

You are invited to join the fun Wednesdays this Spring at the library! Wednesday, March 4th-Wednesday, April 29th in the WPLD Children's Room from 10:00-11:00am for Pre-K ages 3-5. You may pick up a registration form at WPLD. Your child must be registered to attend. We hope you will bring your Little One(s) for Spring stories, games, crafts, and activities with their Storyhour Friends!
